California Young Reader Medal

"The California Young Reader Medal program encourages recreational reading of popular literature among the young people of our state. At Los Cerros Middle School, we provide our students the opportunity to vote in 3 of the 5 categories.  Students who read all the books in any of these categories may vote in that category.  

*Picture books for Older Readers

Intermediate

Middle School/Junior High

Start reading!  Deadline to vote is March 15th.  Need a copy of a book?  Please come to the library to pick up a copy.  

*For the picture books for older readers category, read the books in the library, ask your teacher to sign up for a reading, or come to the readings at lunch time.
